The species are presented in order by family and within families by genus. Pteridophytes, the ferns and fern allies, are first, followed by the flowering plants, dicots first and then monocots.

Verbenaceae - Vervain Family
The vervain family has petals fused into a corolla tube that flares outward toward the top. The four stamens are contained within the corolla tube. The ovary is four-parted; the style projects from the tip, producing four nutlets at maturity. The leaves are simple and opposite on the stem.
