Polemoniaceae - Phlox Family
The phlox family has its five petals fused into a corolla tube with five points. The five stamens adhere to and are hidden within the corolla tube. The ovary, located at the bottom of the corolla tube, is topped by an elongated style that extends beyond the corolla tube. The linear, pointed leaves are opposite each other on the stem.
