Boraginaceae - Forget-me-not Family
The forget-me-not or borage family has small, regular flowers with five fused sepals and petals set individually in the axils of the upper leaves. Seeds are protected within bony fruit walls. The inflorescence is distinctive it is coiled so the developing flower buds are protected, but as development progresses the stem uncoils to expose the flowers. The leaves alternate on the stem.
