Notes: Lithospermum incisum is about the same height as L. canescens and is less hairy on stems and leaves. The leaves are smaller, 1 1/2” by 1/8”. Flowers are pale yellow, and the corolla tube is much longer (1”) with fringed lobes 1/4” long. The sepals are sharp-pointed and 1/2” long, and the fruits are similar. Flowering from early to late May, and fruiting begins in late May. L. incisum is frequent on rocky and sandy prairies.
